As of Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, I am now hosting the daily afternoon drive show on NewsRadio 570 WWNC in Asheville, NC.

If you have the chance, check out the show weekedays from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm on 570-AM.  You can also hear it on-line at www.wwnc.com or through the iHeartRadio app on your smartphone.

I’ve got a blog going on the WWNC website, as well as Facebook and Twitter.  I look forward to having conversations about all the latest news, important issues, and silliness of life.

It’s official – I begin work for News 14 Carolina July 1st. 

I am really excited to transition to television, particularly at a newsroom that is populated with such good people. I’ve known some of the staff there for the better part of a decade and it’s going to be a fun and rewarding experience to join their team.   I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with them.

As I return to news reporting, I’ll be shutting down this site to a large extent.  My work will be available over at the News 14 site, as well as on Time Warner Cable channel 14.   I will no longer be contributing to the Examiner site, either.

My Twitter and Facebook accounts will remain, however.

I want to thank all the people who have wished me well, supported this site, offered prayers and advice, and were so kind to me over the past 3 months.  It has meant a lot to me and my wife.

We are excited that we get to stay in the Charlotte area where we have so many friends and family, and we believe God is opening a new door for us. So we’ll see where it takes us.
